World Heritage Center

In February 2025, the World Heritage Center opened its doors, serving as both a gateway to the San Antonio Missions and a vibrant gathering space for locals and visitors alike. Designed by G&A, the gallery amplifies curiosity by presenting the missions as living, vital sites that provide an unbroken connection to the history and heritage of the surrounding communities. The gallery unfolds into three distinct sections: Living Legacies, Corazon, and Shared Stories, each offering a unique perspective on the narrative within. Through immersive exhibits and storytelling, the center bridges the rich ancestral legacy of the missions with the thriving cultural identity of today’s neighborhoods, fostering a deeper appreciation of this shared heritage.
